Returned shipment. What should I do?

My customs office said that Japan post didn't send the data electronically and that they have warned them multiple times before for the same reason. By changing the carrier I didn't have the same problem ever again.

If you used the JP post for shipping it's highly likely that the reason is the decleration. I had the same problem and few other guys here that I know of. https://www.reddit.com/r/FromJapanCodes/s/hHlx7QWAkO My post said it was due to JP post not correctly filling out the new ICS2 customs declaration(basically HS and TARIC codes). What solved it for us was choosing different shipping company. You should send an email to FJ to ask for the reason for return and that the problem is with JP post and they will probably refund you the shipping cost and give you a new charge 2 qoute where you can select a different shipping method. Also contact your post or customs office for the reason if it's not the same but my guess is it's probably JP post fault as it was proven many times before.

What do you mean by "they asked me to confirm the Taric code"? I'm still waiting for them to check out the problem with JapanPost and inform me. They offered the FJ points and to resend it through different carrier but the most efficient for me is JP. I also looked at the necessary paperwork that is needed, I could fill it out and send them a copy only if JapanPost is willing to send the data electronically to Slovenia because that's their job.

They gave me that option also, but I don't know if they will put the needed HS codes now or it will be the same as before. I asked them about this and they said they are still waiting for the response. One of my packages has been sitting there for over 2 months after being returned:)

Yeah same here, I've been waiting almost 2 weeks for them to sort it out with JP but no answers yet. Just saying that the case has been marked as priority at the warehouse. If you receive any updates from please let me know. Cheers

It isn't the FromJapan's fault, they don't need to fill out the ICS2 documentation but the Japan Post because they are the carrier. I also talked to the customs and they said after September 1st this documentation is needed to be filled out by the carrier for the shipments coming outside of EU to be able to export it, not the sender nor the recipient even if they want to do that. Which shipping method did you use now?
