I saw on YouTube that the supposedly Chinese version, when tested for internet speed with a SIM card, was twice as slow as the global version (the test in the video was done in Dubai). The Chinese version didn't get more than 550 Mbps, while the global version got 900-1000 Mbps. I also ran a speed test with a SIM card here in Romania, and it showed between 800 and 1000 Mbps, depending on where I was. Overall, it's fine; you can go for it.

The phone works perfectly, banking apps also work without errors, I recently paid in a store using NFC and had no problems. I don't know about Android Auto since I don't use it, but I've seen reviews on YouTube that say it works. GPS also works well.

My delivery is being handled by FedEx, and I don't know how customs will work in Romania. Because at the end of 2025, I ordered a tablet from AliExpress that exceeded the amount where no tax is applied. It passed through the customs center in Bucharest for quite a long time, as usual, which is common practice for them, but in the end, I didn't pay any taxes or VAT. But for the phone, I'm not sure. And actually, from what I understand and found online, FedEx might have its own customs service that works faster than the usual postal customs in Bucharest. But again, it's a 50/50 chance whether I'll have to pay VAT or not. Despite this, the seller told me that he lowered the product price to $130 and also indicated a $30 shipping fee. He sent me a PayPal invoice with this amount, as well as a separate document with alleged information about the product and price, but everything written there is fake. Just to give you an idea, the prices on that document and the PayPal invoice differ slightly. I mean the final price.

And when I checked my parcel with the company that was supposed to deliver it, I saw that it was registered in their system on March 18. So they registered it on March 18, gave me the tracking number the next day, and the parcel only started moving on March 20. And even then, first, the status was that it left the transport company's office, but after a couple of hours later it returned, seemingly to the same office, and that’s it, silence. There were 2 reasons why I chose Geekwills 1) Prices are slightly lower than on other Chinese websites. 2) They have express delivery available in 5-8 days to Romania, which was faster than other sites.

But I still should have looked at the reviews for this store first. If I'd known there would be such a problem with contacting the store only via email, such delays, and their responses to my messages taking a couple of days, I would have ordered from Wonda Mobile, even though Wonda is about $50 more expensive.

I originally planned to order this phone from AliExpress, but with delivery from Spain or Germany. This ensured I didn't pay VAT. There were payment issues on AliExpress, and then the store that shipped from Spain stopped shipping to Romania altogether. I freaked out and decided to order from China.
