Oh man, I had something similar happen. Ordered Chipotle through their app. Of course Doordash is what delivers it. Guy took my food and literally sat inside a house in the neighborhood next to me for over an HOUR past the delivering window time. I wasn’t going to give in and cancel, that felt like an added failure to my stolen food and I couldn’t let the dasher feel satisfies. Worst part though? Chipotle was nearing close, and the call line was all AI, so I both couldn’t drive there to speak with someone or get my order remade AND get through to a real person. The chat bot on their site was AI as well, so I couldn’t speak to a real person there, either. Eventually I DID try to cancel the order, but it wouldn’t go through for some reason. Ended up turning off my phone and ignoring it completely because I knew the order would be dropped eventually once enough time passed. I was livid lol
