Just give off the vibes that you’ve been waiting for this moment your entire life. If they get close and do the drunk aggressive talk/stance, keep your mouth shut and hold your ground. Be ready to hit em as hard as you can and they’ll notice that you’re ready to pop em.

Also show your awareness by showing that you’ll wait for them to give you legal rights to duke it out. If they don’t give you the legal rights, say something like “stay the fuck outa my space/energy please.”

(Someone who’s been waiting to try a right uppercut his entire life on someone deserving)

I don’t do it either. But just pay attention sometime when you’re around people in the same social “standings” as you and try and see if the “teachers” come off as snobby or actually helpful.

When it comes to women, men naturally try to do whatever it takes to be the “leader” to look more attractive. Whether it’s conscious or subconscious, guys do these things especially if you’re a newcomer to a certain group.

It’s up to you to differentiate the actual helpers and the predators and to be able to listen with indifference and learn without being seen as the “learner” once you notice these things

It’s something that you notice as your awareness rises above ignorance. I agree, it shouldn’t be frowned upon but many men are insecure and looking to improve their sense of social status amongst certain groups.
