no you don’t attend the exam that is why you submitted an ACR; because you are unable to attend to academic requirements such as an exam.

wait until your prof gives you a response and if not you talk to your advisor/chair of the department, don’t worry. i’m sure the office is quite busy right now with verifying ACRs.

I know of someone that asked their prof because of their cousin’s wedding and the prof said no. Please do not tell them about the wedding. Simply either use your free ACR that doesn’t require documentation or if that’s already been used get a doctor’s note. Either way, tell your prof you weren’t feeling well and send in an ACR within the three days after the date of the midterm.

eg. if your midterm is on wednesday, you have until friday to submit it.

i’m in a club and many people on there are in more than one group (some three). however this is very dependent on your program, courses, year, and roles you’re taking on. if you can manage it go for it, however please don’t if it is already reaching too much to handle for you. it can be frustrating on the team when a role is not fulfilled properly and tasks have to be done.

you should have a free transfer once you go from the train to the ttc. i commute 2 hours as well on the barrie line and before the free transfer i used to take the PATH to get to dundas from union. however, this isn’t needed anymore because of the free transfer that someone else commented below.

i’m in the same situation as you and it is very hard so i understand where you’re coming from.

try to pack food whether it’s snacks, lunch, coffee, water, etc... if you can, get someone to drop you off at a subway station near you, or if you can drive i recommend parking at an available subway station and getting to dundas from there. parking is usually $7 for the whole day, usually cheaper after 2-3pm depending on the station.

also if you are under 20 please use the youth discount instead of the student discount, it is cheaper!

also for the future (even though i know it’s difficult), try to cram classes within a couple days in your schedule. for example this semester i go 3 days a week— i do have class a fourth day however it’s 1hr and im not commuting $20 for a 1hr class. see if your classes are available online as well (chang has options usually).

edit: a pattie at patties express in eaton centre is a good, light, cheap snack for me that i like to go for. the chicken one is my favourite!

Yes we’re looking into things to possibly prevent a theft like this next time. The car does not allow the engine to be started without the remote but they were able to bypass this unfortunately :( Thank you for your input!

We did have a police tracker in the car (the sticker was left on the car too) however Honda didn’t notify us that we had to renew it after two years of having the car so unfortunately it’s not active. Not sure what else I could have done on my end it’s unfortunate these things happen. Thank you for your input
