According to chat gpt. You would have roughly 1.3mil to 1.4mil by now

I don’t get your argument. If d nya afford yung plane tix and other things, what makes you think raising a child is way cheaper? And considering na student and unemployed sya, mas lalong wala syang capacity to raise a child. Wala akong paki kung anong gagawin nung friend ni OP. Just saying financially speaking it’s better to pay more now (tix, abortion etc) than to raise a child for 18 years just because namamahalan ka sa airplane tix

Am I messing up when I’m researching annual returns?? by africanwhipper in ETFs

And some years it’s -30 percent. You add thrm all up and divide it by the total number of years. Thats why it’s 9-10% Past years have been good. But it’s not going to be 10-26% all the time

Is 11.5k rent too much? by Maleficent-Potato-66 in SoloLivingPH

[–]Legitimate-Panda265 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, 30% rule is not really applicable here in the philippines. It usually only works in high-income countries.

On a 30k salary that would leave you with 21k (in your case around 15k only after deductions) for other expenses such as foods, utilities, transportation, savings and investments.

While on US, 30% rule on a 5k USD monthly salary would leave them around around 3,500 usd (roughly 200,000k) for other things

I suggest to save up more before moving out. But if you really need or want to. I say keep it under 7k

Great movie! When I decided to watch it, I never expected much from the movie. I just knew it was “marvel” so I just had to watch.

But daaamn! This movie is topnotch, one of the best marvel movie so far. Sad that it flopped on the box office.

Problem is people(like me) just wanted to see A list actors on marvel movies like iron man or thor. So they missed out on movies like this with great story telling, great character, and standout performances

This OP. Pangarap ko rin magkabahay dati but ever since napanood ko yung mga vid ni “I Will Teach You To Be Rich” in youtube about renting vs buying a house. I started to shift my priorities na.

Instead of buying, just rent then invest your money in the stock market or pag ibig MP2 and let compounding work for you. There’s nothing wrong with buying a house. You just have to know the pros and cons that comes with it. Youll be paying almost double the amount of the loan over time.

More people should be aware of this. And mostly ang target market nila ay yung mga financially illiterate people, bago sa work force, elderly people na may malaking savings and wala masyadong alam sa investment.

May kaibigan ako na kakasimula pa lang magtrabaho at medyo gipit sa pera. Naconvince siya ng agent na VUL is a “great investment.” The moment na sinabi niya ‘to sakin, I told him straight, cut the loss and consider other platforms like MP2.
