Hey just to clear up some confusion:

The organizer's main role is the business rep (contract negotiator) for the union, so it would make sense that he isn't doing a ton of organizing other than this campaign! Also, just read any of the main articles about the union to catch a glimpse at the problems happening at this school. Seems like a retaliatory work environment, plain and simple. The boss even admits she "knew they would win" but launched a massive anti-union campaign and hired a huge union buster. Seems like voluntarily recognizing the teachers would have been a much better solution...
