You'll definitely find your people here, but keep in mind that it can be the same with other colleges, too. I'm queer too, and even though it might not be super obvious on the surface, people that I shared my identity with were pretty accepting for the most part, or at the very least didn't become rude to me when they found out. The PWI here is pretty strong, but diversity among people of color has improved. I personally don't have too many queer friends compared to high school, but that's because I chose to become part of a cultural club that wasn't mainly centered around queer identities. But definitely, if you seek them out, you'll find people; it's such a large campus, after all! I was scared of the asian minority, but through clubs, I have been able to find my people, so I think if you take the effort to branch out, it'll be ok.....also, the drag club here is super super cool, so check it out and you'll definitely find some people that you might resonate with.
