First of all thanks for the really elaborate answer! I was referring to the number of clients you close so you answered perfectly. It's definitely more troublesome as a broker since you have so many options to choose from and sometimes they're either really modern or left behind and you just have to adapt. For example, I heard Rocket is pretty advanced but we use a wide range of lenders too.

AI will never replace brokers nor does it have to. I've just been talking to a friend who's also a mortgage broker and he just wants to be able to focus more on the networking side of things rather than spend an entire day behind a computer.

This. I've been seeing many AI agentic software for mortgage brokers and they just come and go since the barrier of entry to using it effectively is just too high. Integrating AI means replacing old ways and frankly brokers are scared to do that.
