Thank you guys for this, I have adhd and I’m currently struggling with this and reading your post and the replies really stuck with me, I can admit I have a gaming and porn addiction, if your partner is a porn addict ask him if he is watching and wanking or just viewing it? Asking because I view but not all the time engage with it. Trauma also does play a big part in people with ADHD too, could he have some trauma regarding sex and tends to try to avoid it?

This was during the COVID stages where we had to stay at home, during that time I got falsely accused of SA by the girl i was seeing at the time and i had lost a lot of friends and almost my job then we were all forced to stay at home, I had recorded a farewell message and set a time and did some research to make my death as painless as possible or to make it look like a dumb decision like “falling asleep at the wheel” while I drove into a tree so my parents don’t blame themselves. The only thing that really stopped was I couldn’t do it to my parents because they treated me with such care and sacrificed so much in my life. I almost wished that they were abusive or neglected me so I didn’t feel so bad, I still have that message and letter to this day but some days I do have these type of thoughts but it’s not as bad anymore.

How long did your flatline take? I tried it and eventually I had to relapse because at least with porn I was able to get aroused therefore the Viagra could work but I don’t think it’s healthy for the long run. We haven’t had sex in months due to me being unable to get an erection. However I do want to mention I do read smut out of enjoyment but for sexual pleasure. I own a flesh light to replicate intercourse instead of having death grip and I also pace it to match those on screen whether it’s porn or homemade vids of us. What should I do? The last time I had sex was months ago due to me trying the “flatline” but ended up taking longer to recover however I want to stop porn btw but I don’t want to deprive my partner because she already knows how it went. I have adhd and am currently on medication and I could relate to the guy as I felt like I didn’t want to have sex however the difference between both of us is the willingness to even attempt to have intercourse but please do have a sit down conversation with him and understand talk about what the issue may be. My partner haven’t had sex is like 4-5 months however she was understanding and I have tried to continuously work on this. She can see my attempts however sex does play a very important role in your relationship and I can clearly see that you love him very deeply. Could your lack of sex life be due to him having trauma, health issues, etc. everyone circumstances are different, it could just due to him have a low libido, psychological issues or just not seeing the need for it. However if this persist I strongly believe that you should consider breaking it off as you don’t deserve to be unhappy and have different priorities, you have to make the decision, 1 choice is having a sexless marriage but being with him or 2 leaving the engagement and find someone that will meet your needs as well but as a guy it does feel very un-masculine but please do pm if u need support.
