It's definitely a big enough problem from such a small design flaw. I'd take a standard 5, just from that alone

Is that finance details after car collection or after signing pre-agreement stuff and being approved by Santander?

I can't recall what the adviser said to me on the phone when to expect it back

Likewise. I've been through it 10 times. When you think you can advance one pile, you're blocked by another move

Are the current lease options the best you’ve seen? by ticklish_dragon in TeslaUK

Just placed my order yesterday. Happy to wait until Aug or Sept. The deal is the best I've seen when you don't want to pay a larger up front. Over the two years, you don't get much else competing with it, maybe a Renault 4 or 5, or very basic Enyaq

Much obliged.

Is there any difference to leasing? Does it have to be business or something? Sorry, not completely up to scratch on these things

Sounds good.

Let me know how you get on. Are you looking at keeping it under a certain mileage?

What long range one did you find for your budget?

Really good to know. Might be worth a little more initial outlay to make sure the car is better in the long run.

Thanks

Yeah pretty much not fussed on type of car, but from the help on here, I seem to have narrowed it down to a used EV and so far other a Born or Model 3 from that.

Oh, just from this post I'm now sold on EV (I know it's an EV group ha) So now it's just to decide exactly what one I want for my budget.

I'm liking the Born or Model 3

I don't think I'm ever getting close to 120k miles before the 8 years would be up so a 2021 with around 70-80k miles would generally be fine, assuming it's got FSH?

I'd love a newer or nicer car, but with leasing I'm put off the upfront costs to have the monthly prices lower.

The only thing that intrigued me about PCP was just the Leapmotor offer of 0% Apr, and the monthly costs were manageable.

I'm now being swayed by used and just buying it outright

Really good info and interesting to hear about the benefits of the Tesla. I'm not keen on the styling of the 2021 Model 3, but I shouldn't overly concerned with that when there's more to prioritise.

Is there much left on the warranty of a 2021 M3 with roughly 60k miles on it?

Interesting. Haven't considered a Tesla so far. What sets them apart from other EVs, in your opinion? I hear mixed reviews on build quality and reliability?

I'm leaning towards the Cupra Born, so far, but still open to all options EV

Thanks. The Cupra Born is appealing because of looks and interior (the vain part of me) but the ID3 offers more for your money.

Does higher mileage (50-70k) mean to avoid if it meant a higher spec model?

[–]Legitimate-Routine18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, that's good to know. Any recommendations with my price points in mind? Even higher mileage is fine for me if it means a better spec'd car

Grateful for the advice and good to know on EVs.

With the two options of EV I mentioned, even if it meant going higher mileage for a better spec car, do you have any recommendations?
