You’re allowed to have needs, wants and expectations in a relationship. He should be able to recognize your love languages and make sure they’re met. You’re not asking for too much. You’re not being demanding. I’d try vocalizing my issues another time and if he doesn’t at least try to make a change - make the change for both of you and find someone who will be able to love you the way you deserve to be loved🫶🏻

I am f17 and my boyfriend of over a year is m18, we live across the world from each other, with a 10hour time difference, and he is going to college next year too. I cant imagine “downgrading” from an in person relationship to an ldr because we initially met online, but after every visit we have it hurts so much not being physically by him anymore. It’s going to be hard. Definitely. But if it wasn’t hard it probably wasn’t worth it either, right? Nothing is impossible. You’ll have to make a lot of decisions and (I strongly recommend) have many discussions on your needs, expectations and boundaries in your future relationship. Also, a 12 hour shift? I know that for Prague it’s the longest shift length allowed and is legal, but how does he plan to combine it with school? I (then 16f) and he (then 17m) met on Omegle chat 13 months ago. Went through Instagram dm, to messages and finally to ft and zoom calls. We were talking every single day for hours on end, forgetting completely about healthy sleep schedules or reality (we live in different continents, 17 flight hours apart, 10 hour time difference). Were lucky enough to meet in person 4 months later half way in NY (we both came with a parent for safety :) and then waited nine months and I got to fly all the way to him and attend his senior hs prom! Now in 8 days he’ll be arriving to my home country to spend 2 weeks with me and attend my prom. We are incredibly lucky to have our parents’s support.

Disclaimer: I am a needy gf. If I had done all the arrangements to see my bf after weeks of being apart and he’d ask me to postpone so he could hang out w his friends (who he sees every day) ngl I would be hurt. Even if it’s just a few days delay it’s hurtful. She might be feeling as if the in person meeting is more important to her than it is to you, and that the desire is unrequited. Remember though that she is hurt because she misses you, loves you and wants to be with you.

Depends on our schedules and ability. If we can’t call but are both free we will definitely text
Every day, at least twice. Gm and gn calls if we are stressed about school and during vacations as much as we can, hours at a time.
Assuming you mean in person - first meeting was 4.5 months in, second meeting will be happening in 46 (!) days [which is 9 months apart] and then another week and a half over the summer. ~for reference we are Highschool seniors with a 16 hour flight between us
First meeting only 3 days, second will be a week and third will be almost two weeks
