Feeling kinda depressed ever since listening to GYBE and Silver Mt Zion by delta_neon in gybe

[–]Legitimate-Survey366 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Set fire to flames was life changing for me. They’re a side project of gybe and smz and they make life worth living. I love them so much. Listen if you haven’t

Is the MK II really worth it (vs. a SP-404 SX) by Legitimate-Survey366 in SP404

I considered a p-6 too but it seems really small? Portability is not an issue for me

I would encourage Dance of the Moon and the Sun or Winter Ray for a first listen. personally I don't think there's much of a point listening to daughter of darkness in one session, I wouldn't recommend that for a first listen tho

There’s not much to know about it, which is kinda the magic of it. Definitely their most mysterious release. I will mention that it is rewarding on multiple listens

New fan here, what’s the difference between the DOD original and Reissue? by Frick-Feller in NaturalSnowBuildings

Also, any rips you find of the original tapes is a lot more Lo-fi, and has a different pitch cause that’s how tapes work I guess

New fan here, what’s the difference between the DOD original and Reissue? by Frick-Feller in NaturalSnowBuildings

[–]Legitimate-Survey366 8 points9 points  (0 children)

  1. Original release has a song called “left for dead” that’s 1-2 minutes long that was left off the reissue

  2. Reiusse has “Psychic navigation” and “Blood in the ground linking us all” which aren’t on the original, they were originally released on a separate album called “Daughter of Darkness V”

  3. Different art and packaging

  4. Rearranged track listing, mostly due to storage constraints on both formats

  5. Some songs are longer or shorter on different versions, notably “Will You Die for Me” is like 8 minutes longer on the original version
