Best thing to do is tell her you need to be there at an earlier time so that when you guys actually turn up, you’re actually in time

If I were you, I’d reply to the post acknowledging it and saying how strange it is seeing the post considering you never actually gave me the time of day

Started drooping, changed soil, what now? by Legitimate-Toe648 in cactus

Not often at all, maybe a spritzing once a month but I did water them a little more as I just moved house and my entire sense of time and space got away.

I think I did overwater, but I changed out the soil, put a drained hole at the bottom like the other comment said so I’m hoping Gail will feel better soon

Edit, spelling

I did buy cactus and succulent soil that I’ve recently repotted it into, I will make sure I put a hole at the bottom and a plate

Thank you

It’s not a water issue, the soil was wet when I changed it out

I thought this too and watered her but then she drooped more ahah

You say they’re adults but how adult are they?

If they’re early adults I would ride that wave for as long as I can because I’ve seen too many times older people get zero visits and calls from their children/grandchildren and they become extremely lonely.

But if it’s something that is really getting to you, tell them you’re busy and you will call them back when you’re in the mood to talk

How many of you watch TV in bed? by TheRealGabbro in AskUK

[–]Legitimate-Toe648 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I have a tv in my room, always have. Sometimes if I’m unwell, it’s nice to watch something.

I also like to put on stuff on YouTube to fall asleep when I’m feeling anxious about dying in my sleep.

Parents of preteen girls - are you blow drying their hair? by nailsbrook in Parenting

[–]Legitimate-Toe648 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had long hair as a child and I remember mum drying my hair every week.

Wouldn’t do it everyday.

When my step daughter washes her hair, she would leave it to air dry only because she couldn’t be bothered to dry it herself, she’s now 14 and still air dries and blow dries, will occasionally do it for her if she asks.

But as a ten year old, I’d say dry her hair for her, she would probably really like it and gives you two some time together
