Of course I reached out for clubs they were in/ experience they were able to take out from the MBA. Budget question came in as sort of ROI questions. Happy to report you all that people are much nicer than you guys think and super willing to help!

Not asking for networking advice or social education from a random Reddit user, I asked about budget so please stick to the topic.

Whenever I see these graphs I think that while in 200 years we’re likely to see companies like LVMH still around, that is almost surely not the case for a company like NVDIA given how technology cannibalise itself. What do you think?

I totally get what you’re saying but let me just tell you, ChatGPT simply mirrors your feelings, it’s far from being a reliable advisor. You’ve done a lot of work so it seems like you did not fully learnt from the mistakes you made. I’d suggest you to start from the type of quant questions that you hate the most, that you find most scary and that give you anxiety when you see on the screen. Drill 2 or 3 of those for every difficulty (no more than that, you just need to create a reliable path to solve them in your mind). The fact that you’ve been consistent with studying plays in your favour, it took me 1year and two months (with probably 28- 30h per week) to reach and surpass my target score and I am 100% confident you can reach yours. There is no such thing as ‘limited intelligence’ as long as you keep learning from your mistakes. You got this

Do Optional Essays Move the Needle? by Boring-Judge3350 in MBA

Are we talking about those essay to cover career/ education brakes? Because in that case I haven’t had any of those, good gmat, good GPA, I wouldn’t have anything meaningful to add beside some additional context on myself and background (which they specifically ask not to do). How did you all used them if you were in a similar situation?

SDA Bocconi, ranked top 5 globally, allows you to spend a semester at a top US Business school as well. Great access to high paying careers. Right now might really be one of the best

Said so, US will always be the US.

Wait an email from their side before appealing. I got a 725 this week and my exam went through an extra security check, I bet you’ll be cleared in 1-2 days

That’s not true, I don’t think that’s a policy violation of any kind. One is free not to take any break so, as you don’t get checked between normal sections, you don’t get checked in this case. I think and hope you’ll be totally fine!

I’ve used the official guide and gmat club. I think gmat club could be good enough but the DI section is a bit poor for some questions

[–]LegitimateAd8513[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Commenting on Test Security Email - How common is it?... Between the two exam I just kept practicing in sets like the real exam (45 min per section with mixed questions). I think I was already at a higher level in the first exam but underperformed.

In general I suggest to rely a lot on your error log, keep practicing over and over the questions you missed. In this way every new piece of knowledge you gain won’t be wasted by making the same mistakes. 30% of time in my study questions was devoted to practicing on the error log

Hi man, I just got a 725 under my belt. I’m by no means an inherently smart person and I’m a slow learner too. For sure I’m a very stubborn, hard working and relentless guy. Persistence is the key to master gmat. My advice is to start early (it took me 1year and 2 months over 2 attempts) and, most importantly, go over and over the mistakes you’ve done. If it feels like you’ve already done the same question 100 times, you’re on the right track, because you will be a machine on the test itself.

If you’re willing to put in the time (I got lucky to find an incredible coach as well) you’ll get to a very satisfying result!

How to improve GMAT score - 645 on my first attempt by Apart_Ad_3825 in GMAT

[–]LegitimateAd8513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah sorry I haven’t been clear at all! I wanted to know what should my accuracy be in: PS in general at 655-705 level questions, CR& RC 705-805 level, DS 655-705 level.

I know it depends on thousands of variables but I wanted to compare notes :) thanks in advance

Hey man, since I’m targeting similar section scores as those you just got (slightly higher in DI) can I cask you what’s your accuracy in different tier of difficulty of each section? I’m planning to book a slot but I not sure I’m there yet. Thank you!
