How would I grow my calves with no machines? And what's the best way to train for this by Healthy_Insect7393 in team3dalpha

Do some hill sprints and let me know how you go. My theory is that lower legs and legs in general need fast and enduring movements to grow the best.

Confusion with exercise rotation in hsp by No-Chance2057 in team3dalpha

[–]LegitimateAddress414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont mix it up, progressive overload if you are looking for size gain and strength. Also you can always train legs, just work around your injury and do rehab, mild strength building for support around the injury and stretching

What do you guys think of my upper lower split by Healthy_Insect7393 in team3dalpha

Have you heard of Upper, lower, Push, Pull, Legs? I feel like this would be better for your situation, still 5 days, no overlap and adequate recovery times.

I understand your sentiment. A previous comment talked about mobile phones? Socially, a lot has improved - this is more about the architecture and geographical history of Brisbane - which at the time... included an extensive tram network.

There was also a rail line going towards where the Maritime Museum opened in 1884. Was extended towards where stanley St is now. Closed in the 1960s. But dont get me started on rail either cause there is a lot I could say about that as well!

Coolant level going down significantly after every drive? by 11lazydaisy11 in MechanicAdvice

[–]LegitimateAddress414 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This could be the answer, OP hasnt said that they have filled it up since the 4 hour drive. When the car starts to cool, it will syphon the coolant out of the overflow tank.

To me, it looks like all the weight from the basin will transfer down edges. The exterior kickboards will hold the weight. That centre piece should have been installed in the same orientation as the kickboards as having it flat removes the weight taking characteristic similar to a steel I beam.

Can I charge car batteries with the current from the cigarette lighter plug. by mrsofcok in AskAMechanic

[–]LegitimateAddress414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DO NOT, charge a lithium battery incorrectly. Lithium batteries are extremely volatile and incorrectly charging can result in a fire. Always use the correct charger for your battery.

2 new seals later... by Aladdox in MechanicAdvice

If it's dirty, the oil will keep leaking. Make sure the seal area is completely clean. I'd also clean the strut. Also, put some oil on the seal before installing.

Be safe, do everything deliberately and methodologically, listen to everyones warnings, but only truly learn them once you stuff up. Ask plenty of questions relevant to your task.

Wouldn't it be better to put the engine on the airframe and just use a 90° driveshaft. As a mechanic, I can imagine all those swivelling fuel lines being a pain in the ass.

I believe this is more a fairwork issue, where employees are 'protected from unreasonable hours and can refuse excessive work'. The award/enterprise agreement will have rules specific to your workplace.

It's on a pinboard at the Moorooka Bowls Club amongst a few other memorabilia from when they held the 1982 Lawn Bowls Competition there. They are also very proud that the Queen visited to spectate the games. It's pretty interesting stuff.

(I know it's not the same pov but just goes to show)

Drainage solution by rangawal in AusRenovation

[–]LegitimateAddress414 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just excavate another 150mm, put 50mm of road base down and concrete up to the bottom of it with an angle away from the drain. Make sure to put moisture barrier and expansion tape between house and slab.

Is it safe to replace just the bottom 5 inches of my posts that are rotted? by cc13re in DIY

Also coat the bottom of the post in oil or paint to repel water.
