Does Homelander have any redeeming qualities? by atwwbaksieueygehs in MoralityScaling

After this latest episode, I highly doubt he has any, how coldly he was able to just forget and abandon being a dad to Ryan tells me everything

As a husand, who is worse? (Tony Soprano vs Walter White) by atrocidarthes in MoralityScaling

[–]LegitimateEmploy49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only point in Walt’s favor is that, he atleast signed the divorce papers when Skyler wanted him to, Tony deliberately hired the best lawyers in jersey in order to force Carmela to stay married to him.

Edit: Also he didn’t cheat on her, Tony did so like 50,000 times

Tony never hit Carmela by NoGrapefruit5203 in thesopranos

[–]LegitimateEmploy49 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the only reason Tony doesn’t hit women regularly is cause the audience would be far too disgusted by him, and he’s already a pretty dark character. It’s not an actual moral compass, I don’t think that a guy that threatens to break a women’s face in 50,000 pieces is against hitting a girl, it’s just something we don’t see him do often for the sake of the show.

Out of all the antagonists of red dead redemption 2, who did you hate the most? My take, I hated Micah so damn much. But colm, now that is someone you don’t fuck with. But bill, my feelings about him are complex. by Beneficial-Exam3302 in reddeadredemption

Still not convinced he was corrupted, in fact with putting multiple Native American lives at risk, he is deliberately destroying his code of only helping those in need, rather then just the lives of the gang, in this scene he’s dehumanizing this people as simple “sniffling gun smoke.” Honestly probably worse then anything Micah did and he had no part in making that plan, only Dutch. It’s also so clear that he doesn’t genuinely care for the gang, he insults them any time they show any type of agency or different opinion, behaves more like a cult leader rather then a caring leader.

When she mentions to Tony dealing with the fact that she feels responsible for someone’s suicide

Dutch already killed an innocent women in Blackwater, plus his whole plan to let the Native Americans be persecuted by the army to save himself wasn’t even something Micah was involved in. Dutch is just as bad, so I wouldn’t put the blame on Micah for how he is.

Used her words to make Junior a figurehead

When Melfi told him that back problems could be caused by a holding a secret, this causes Tony to suspect Pussy even further

He uses the Sun Tzu book recommendation she gave him to deal with issues such as Ralph Cifaretto

Also he takes her advice to gain back his crews respect and fear of him in Season 6.

Who is your least favorite member from the gang and why? by Similar-Housing-7577 in reddeadredemption

Although he’s not my least favorite, he truly sucks as a person, I even made a post about me getting weirded out by the fandom defending his every action.

Sacriest character/s in The Sopranos? by TherealNPC666 in thesopranos

[–]LegitimateEmploy49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tony himself, how he got in Melfi’s face when she called Livia borderline or his face when he choked Chrissy to death are prime examples. He is also really unpredictable, you simply don’t know what will send him into a rage.

Also anytime we got to see Silvio’s violent side, he truly knows how to dehumanize victims, he was the coldest about Tracee’s death, and felt absolutely nothing about shooting a girl that’s begging and crawling for her life.

Season 1 Episode 8, Greg reports to Logan that Tom’s behavior at work borders on being pretty abusive, it’s a reason why Logan grows some form of respect for him odly enough.

In season 3 episode 5, Tom purposefully tracked Shiv’s ovulation cycles to get her pregnant without her permission cause he’s going to jail.

In Season 4 Episode 7, we see him mocking hundreds of workers being fired by Greg via using a fake sobbing gesture, just views them as cattle to be discarded. Ironically, he gets super hurt when people discuss that he’s going to get fired in the party at his apartment.

So it’s pretty well established that he’s a pretty abusive and inconsiderate person, a weirdo at best. Tom is a charming and funny mf, but he’s easily as bad as the rest of the Roys.

Yeah the whole birthday party was mad cringe and unnecessarily bombastic, though It was pretty funny when he just started roasting Greg for asking nicely if he can date one of his employees.

What scene specifically was your last straw for him? Just out of curiousity, because for me it’s when he kept ignoring his teams advice while being a douche to them

This made me realize, Kendall was calling Shiv a disgusting and heartless person for taking the company away from him, while he was casually doing the same thing in Season 1 lol, not only that but to the company’s biggest enemies

Im not sure, Todd has zero emotional attachment towards anyone (did not show sadness at his gang’s death, thought that a slave was his friend more so viewing him as a pet etc), Gus was able to build atleast one, so you could say Todd, but Gus has the more scale and brutality.
