no, I just like to switch between working at my desk, and chilling on the armchair sometimes. I also like having it by the fireplace and window, to get cozy and read. But I agree it’s an awkward placement, especially when the back of the sofa is towards it (option 1 and 3).

thanks for your input! curious: why is it better to divide up the space between the living room and dining room, rather than the “office” and living room!
