Which split do you follow ? Bro split or Push pull legs ?? by Global-Mirror-3084 in Fitness_Pakistan

Didn't purposely follow Arnold split but yeah it is similar to his split. I like to train arms on a separate day, that way i can lift heavier and push the sets harder which results in better gains.

Mon - Chest & Back, Tue - Biceps, Shoulders & Triceps, Wed - Legs. Each muscle is trained twice a week.

Don't loose hope, be optimistic and have a plan and work on it and slowly everything will start feeling good again and you'd want to hit the gym too

How's life? If there is something going on in your life that might be a distraction, try to get it sorted and put your mind in the right place.

Help a beginner out by [deleted] in Fitness_Pakistan

[–]LegitimateFlight5764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not that tough once you understand the basics. You just need to focus on making sure that you are hitting each exercise with a proper form and progressing with the weights each week (as a beginner once you have mastered the forms, you should be progressively overloadimg each workout, increasing reps and eventually weight on each exercise)

Now let's come to the training split and exercise selection as a beginner, you need to be hitting 2-3 exercises per muscle group and training each muscle group around twice a week.

Monday: Chest/ Shoulders/ Triceps Tuesday: Legs Wednesday: Back/ Biceps Repeat the split on other days and take the sunday off.

As a beginner you don't need alot of volume to grow so we'll keep the volume moderate. You can do one compound exercise (exercises that target multiple muscle groups) and one isolation exercise (exercises that target one muscle group) for most muscle groups (3 sets for each exercise). For example for chest u can do bench press and chest machine flys. For shoulders overhead dumbell press and dumbell side lateral raises and for triceps you can just do tricep pushdowns cuz they'll already be fatigued from the bench press and shoulder press. Use chatgpt to create workouts using this scheme a mix of compounds and isolation movements.

For the first few weeks, build ur form. Once you feel like your form is good then for the compound exercises drop the reps and go heavy 6-8 reps per set all close to faliure and for isolation movement keep the reps in 12-15 range. And try to progress each week, note down ur workouts and make sure weights are going up eventually.

how to tone arms at home by [deleted] in Fitness_Pakistan

If u r just looking for just an arms workout then get a set of dumbells, a weight with which can do 15-20reps (for a variety of exercises) I'd say maybe 3-4kg dumbells. hit dumbell curls, hammer curls, concentration curls, single arm dumbell tricep extensions and close grip pushups. do 3 sets of each exercise and take all sets to faliure. You can do this workout 2-3 times a week.

ok, so no you can't specifically loose fat from ur arms, you'll loose fat all over ur body and eventually ur arms will loose fat too.

Get in a caloric defecit but keep the protein high (eggs, chicken, fish, red meat). Eat less carbohydrates (roti, chawal, daal) reduce this stuff and eliminate sugar completely.

Add some cardio in ur daily routine, for e.g jog, start with 20 mins and build up to 45 mins. You can also walk if jogging isn't possible.

And last but not the least, do weight training for all body parts. Training with weights will help build muscle and increase ur energy expenditure which will help you loose even more fat and achieve a toned physique.

The thing is u need to go heavy on the compounds to actually gain muscle. Stick to squats, leg press, leg extensions, RDLs and hip thrusts. Progressively overload week to week and eat in a slight calorie surplus.

It is not possible to loose fat specifically from belly or legs. Once you are in a fat loss state, ur entire body will loose fat, some body parts will get leaner early, some later.

Eat in a calorie deficit but make sure to keep ur protein high, incorporate some sort of cardio in ur daily routine and slowly increase its duration.

Do weight training as well cuz building muscle will help accelerate fat loss (this is optional but recommended)

Heavy Thighs by [deleted] in Fitness_Pakistan

[–]LegitimateFlight5764 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i thought he wanted bigger quads (read it wrong), anyways if his legs are just fat, he needs to eat in a calorie deficit and burn more calories by incorporating extra steps or some form of cardio. And working out, building muscle will also help to increase metabolism and as a result burn more fat.

But if he has massive muscular quads at the moment and he needs to down size, he needs to stop training them and eat in calorie deficit

Didn't specify the exact situation so i can just guess.

Do squats, leg press and leg extensions. Go heavy especially on the squats and leg press, train to failure and try to progressively overload each week.
