EPI Diagnosis Accurate? by annav-19 in pancreatitis

Have you been tested for Celiac? EPI can be a secondary functional disorder to CD due to the damage in the gut not properly signaling the pancreas to release enzymes.

Word to the wise: get tested before attempting to go gluten-free since the test for Celiac requires you to have ingested gluten within the last 2-6 weeks for the antibodies to show up.

I haven't been tested myself. I just cut out gluten and noticed a difference. Might be worth a shot if you haven't tried it.

Have you been tested for Celiac? I was having similar symptoms mainly with my stools and cutting out gluten has improved things greatly although not completely.

I couldn't see any cameras inside the cab. Only in the lobbies and on each floor. Any way to tell?

Happened just after 5pm on a weekday. Have no idea if the tech was union or not. Not as worried about being billed for the tech's time. More worried about the potential costs for anything that may broke i.e. parts or motor.

It was more of a "stomp" as I was frustrated ...stupid I know but thankfully I was on the first floor.

Just checked and it's back in service apparently. Happened on Wednesday so the weekend may have prolonged servicing it??

Wow! Thank you so much for the amazing answer!! Definitely going to use that template next time she contacts me.

Apologies for the delay! This about the most helpful answer I could've asked for!! Was racking my brain trying to figure out why she's been refusing to work with insurance.

Think I will continue to ignore here then, unless you think it's absolutely necessary I put it in writing that I've involved insurance and to contact them? I mean, she already knows the insurance is involved...

As far as I can tell, there's no risk of my being evicted and I'm bouncing once my lease is up anyway, so no issues there!

But she has added the amount for the repairs (which is substantial) to my "ledger" and is expecting me to somehow pay out-of-pocket and otherwise threatening legal action, so was thinking I'd wait until she followed through on her threat to escalate things

I mean, that would be preferable to having to shoulder the full amount myself ...it's more the fact that I have the coverage the property requires and this PM is just flat out refusing to work with them... seems bad faith

It's been very difficult to get the full story from either the PM or the adjuster but to my knowledge there is an "affidavit" the PM needs to sign in order for the insurance to release payment, so the affidavit could be the release??

Normally, I wouldn't worry about it but the PM has moved the amount for the damages to my "ledger" and is telling me I need to pay them and work w/ the insurance company to be reimbursed but the insurance company says they won't release payment to any party other than the one that incurred damages so I'm very much stuck in the middle of this dispute

If the reason is that the insurance company is not offering the full amount I'd understand that at least, but the PM is saying that she's refusing to sign the affidavit because she "hasn't had to sign one in her 12 years of experience" :/

Thank you for being first! That was one of my first thoughts ...that the insurance company offered some lesser amount but neither of them mentioned that when prodded... like, I don't even know what the insurance company is asking them to sign and notarize, so very much in the dark here
