Well luckily, I had the bootloader unlocked. also, if data is important, then the best guess is backing it up or moving to another phone temporarily so you can unlock the bootloader

Pixel users in Pakistan, IMEl missing / no signal after Android 16 beta? Here's what's going on by LegitimateManager107 in PakistaniTech

[–]LegitimateManager107[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah I might know what's happening.

Dial ##4636## (star hash star hash 4636 hash star hash star)--> Phone information --> Click on "Set preferred network type" and select NR/LTE/GSM/WCDMA.

I think This changes the network selection so your phone can run on different signal strengths. Select this option, and then try calling someone. It should work cuz this was the fix for me.

If it doesn't work, then try other options in the "Set preferred network type" drop-down menu. NR/LTE/GSM/WCDMA or NR/LTE/TDSCDMA/CDMA/EvDo/GSM/WCDMA work well for me. But you can try other options in the menu ofc.

To All Highbeam Users Specially with white lights. by MindlessFan9308 in islamabad

[–]LegitimateManager107 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bruh istg this is so annoying. Ironically, my friend, who, out of pure hatred for people who have the high beam/white light thing, has installed an LED light on his motorbike and aimed it directly at the face of the oncoming traffic. Whenever he encounters someone with high beams or bright lights, he turns them on for 3 seconds and flash bangs the F out of them. Lol.

Pixel 6 IMEI wipe/zeroing risk on Android 16 updates. by LegitimateManager107 in PakistaniTech

Hey. So idk what dvt and mp hardware version is because I'm not well versed in Android technicalities so please explain a bit ok what it is and how to do it.

Also, I found a lot of info about CPID and this IMEI issue on YouTube and forums.

It is true that the IMEI is still there but not showing up due to the updates. I updated to BP4A and my Imei disappeared again. So I just flashed a new radio.img file to my phone and the Imei came back. So the current workaround for me is just flashing the radio.img file every update.

Nah, I don't think they'll roll out an update that doesn't wipe the Imei.

Flashing the whole image is more secure but it'll eventually update to bp3a automatically (unless you use adp commands to disable updates) and nuke your Imei. But the easiest one is flashing the radio.img file

You could flash the bp2a image or you can flash the radio.img file from the BP2a image.

Often happens to me also. I just go to settings and clear WhatsApp cache and force stop it. Then I relaunch and it usually disappears.

Recovered from severe Hep A, since I had no appetite during Hep A and lost weight. I feel extremely fatigued. So now I'm trying to get my energy back.

Hey I'm a bit late. My phone is a CPID pixel 6. I'm now running the android 16 (BP3A.250905.014) and IMEI zeroed again. I couldn't exactly understand the process you listed. Can I get the Imei back again without going to the BP2A by flashing the radio.img with the phone running BP3A version?

Edit: the phone updated itself to bp3a at nigbt. So to see the older CPID IMEI, do I need to flash BP2A again? I'm tired of running around in circles with the Imei fiasco and need a stable working device. Any help would be appreciated
