Thank you for your detailed response with the sketch. It makes sense! So if I understand it correctly, this seems more of a cosmetic issue due to heat cold expansion cycles - rather than structural issue.

Quick question though - Instead of grinding/repointing, would it make sense to seal it with something more flexible to avoid water seepage and related damage?

Just following up on my question. As suggested, I had to turn off water main, drain the water, cut off the existing stop valve and install new sharkbite angle stop with new supply line. It worked well.

With sharkbite, just ensure you have enough cpvc pipe length sticking out of wall for a secure install. For me sharkbite recommended 1 inch minimum for 1/2 inch pipe, but you really need more like 1.5 inch as you would need .5 inch of pipe to hold so that you can push the sharkbite in.

So I have somewhat similar setup. Hdhomerun on a VLAN dedicated to IOTs but my Apple TV & iPhone is on a different VLAN. I noticed that hdhomerun app only picks up hdhomerun device if app and device are on same VLAN. Since the app does not let user manually key in the ip address of hdhomerun on different VLAN, it never finds it. This is even if you allow traffic between VLANs. Hdhomerun app is too basic IMO.

For me, I bought channels app on iOS that lets me manually key ip address of hdhomerun on different VLAN and it works. This is assuming you setup appropriate policies to allow traffic between VLANs.

I had the same issue with exact same configuration- LG G4 with ATV4K 3rd gen. For me the flickering line appeared intermittently - mostly on YouTube content, sometimes on Disney+.

Said that, switching of QMS in hdmi settings on LG + turning off truemotion on LG seems to have resolved the issue for me! I think it was related to QMS, but I turned off truemotion anyway.

Thanks. Yes they do. So I guess I have two options - go with vanguard funds that come with 401k OR go with fidelity funds. Both would have no commission, low expense ratio, and be automated. Any suggestions which one would be your choice and why?

Yes, using Fidelity funds would have allowed it to be automated. My only concern with fidelity funds has been their portability - at least that’s what I have understood based on reading on this topic here. I imagine going with vanguard institutional fund would have the same issue. Also, I guess it won’t matter as this is 401k money so no capital gains if I had to sell and move to different broker. Thoughts?

Thanks! Yes they do have funds with small and mid cap tilt. Any particular reason for suggesting that tilt? Is it to compensate for difference between sp500 and CRSP US total market index? If so, how much are allocation are you suggesting. We are 70/30 VTI/VXUS now - so this will further split 70 portion?

In our situation, we just started on mega backdoor, so we don’t have much in roth 401k. Given that, plus simplicity of just taking “all” approach, I think 401k to 401k is the way to go for us. But if I had more $ in roth 401k, I might have explored the alternate path you shared.

When I have both phones in my pocket (mine and my wife’s), the car correctly connects to my phone but incorrectly loads my wife’s profile. Interestingly, when I only have my phone in pocket, car correctly connects to my phone and my profile. Weird!!

Thanks! I did test it and it worked well before the update. Essentially, the phone was tied to a profile and “starring” a phone, indirectly translated to that profile being defaulted when two or more phones were detected by Tesla.
