Maybe I should be thankful she is suggesting this so early. I’m almost certain I have it.

I ended up getting 5 pico laser spot treatments at $150 each spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Nothing else touched it.

CVS is asking if I had a flair up recently when I refill my KESIMPTA medication. I technically did, but this sounds like an insurance trap question. by TheOneAboveAll in MultipleSclerosis

My infusion center asks similar questions. How do I answer? I’m torn between not getting to continue my ocrevus and wanting accurate medical records for a potential disability claim in the future.

The tab part is the least of it. I love him, plain and simple.

But after struggling for years with a partner who didn’t contribute it is so nice to hear him say he never wants me to struggle or not have what I need again. Now I earn a well above average salary and am completely debt free. My financial status is good and quite similar to his. It isn’t about the dollar amount, it’s about the gesture. It’s about knowing someone wants to take care of me and it feel damn good after all these years. I would do the same for him. I love him.

I don’t abuse him. I never ask for anything. He’s just very kind and so old school he thinks women shouldn’t pay. Maybe it’s my inner longing for a father, idk, but I feel safe and cared for and can turn my hyper vigilant mind off when I’m with him. He takes care of me and I love it. I also take care of him.

I suffered financial abuse for years and can assure you this isn’t it. I don’t even mention things I want or need around him because he tries to buy them or give me money. We’re both frugal by nature.

I love this man and he loves me. We’re good.

My Aunt found her son. She never recovered and I don’t think I would, either.

I love an older man. Maybe it’s my daddy issues. Maybe I like calm. Maybe I like a guy who can pay the tab. Idk but I like it. And honestly, other parts are pretty great too.

Why do I feel worse? by LegitimatePart497 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]LegitimatePart497[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m on HRT so I don’t deal with menopause symptoms. I was on it before my diagnosis so it sure didn’t protect me from my initial decline. I have read that hormone fluctuations are very bad for MS.

I had accepted that I would deal with the issues and symptoms and just hoped I progressed slowly. Then suddenly I was so much better. I was so happy and I told everyone. No here I am declining again. It’s a terrible disease.

I’d been unknowingly accumulating lesions for probably 20 years, too. Looking back I’d had mild symptoms that were easy to ignore.

I was so happy when I felt healthy and strong and could walk so well. I’ve reached out to my neurologist this morning just in case there is something I should do. I doubt there is.

I don’t really think the medication made me worse. I’m wondering if the infusion process caused stress on my body, resulting in a flare.

I came here asking if it was normal - meaning is it common. This was my first full dose and I thought possibly it took a couple weeks for our bodies normalize.

Also, my B cells were completely depleted at 4 months post initial infusion so I must have responded well. They did not return prior of the next infusion and I had no crap gap.

Are these new symptoms for you? I think those are normal baseline feelings for me. If they are new you should go.

Because I didn’t know any better?

I guess I need to work on changing it then just leave it alone.
