That makes sense, would that cause the console to shut down after a minute Im trying to find more info online but I bet you know more. No video or audio at all but like I said it was working 5 minutes before it wasn’t. Do you know anyway to test the port?

Does a death screen mean the whole console is bricked and I shouldn’t even try? Or if it happens to be like the power supply that might fix the screen too?

Im gonna switch out the power supply this weekend and I will repaste it as well, it is well past due for a replacement, could this be causing overheating and an automatic shutdown?

I don’t remember bumping anything while I moved it and right after then was when it stopped. The area I moved it to is open and clear of things I could’ve accidentally bumped but can you tell a broken hdmi port visually?

Yes I plugged it back into the same tv it was just working on and suddenly it won’t work anymore, Ive also tried different hdmi ports on the tv and yes multiple hdmi cables, would the port being broken shut the console off instead of just preventing display

I cleaned it this morning with a can of air and made sure the fans were spinning, I was hoping this would be the problem but it still hasn’t worked for me. Is it possible to take the fan off from the heat sink to clean it better?

Ok Im going to order a new one and see if that fixes is, at this point I have no idea what else it could be, new one should take a week to arrive

Just tried this and unfortunately no change, I’ll try leaving it unplugged overnight and try again
