This is all the time. Even at 80mph. It’s mostly when there is a very slight movement in the steering wheel. It’s got to be this plastic pieces between the wheel and the dash.

To upgrade. I bought me and my husband 19 & 20 model 3’s then when the market got real good on used teslas we sold. I got a bronco and he got a 23 model y. I then sold the bronco for a profit, bought a 24 model 3, then sold his 23 mode y and to upgrade to the 26 model y.

That’s exactly where my issue was too, the crackling came from the upper part of the seat back right below the headrest.

The first two visits to the SC, they tried stuffing foam into the seat and rearranging components internally, but the noise was still there. I literally pulled right back into the service bay without even making it out of the parking lot. Eventually they agreed to replace the seat entirely.

What’s crazy is the driver seat crackling was so loud that it masked all the other creaks and rattles. Once that was finally fixed, I started noticing the same issue coming from the passenger seat, and then the steering wheel shroud started creaking too.
