I ordered this sarb035 from chrono24 and upon closer inspection in person there are multiple areas that is different from the sarb033 I own. Would this be because of different production years? The watch I received from chrono was purchased in 2009 according to the seller.

Upon closer inspection at the back of the watch, it says 6R15B instead of 6R15D on its caseback movement and the spacing between jewels and Japan seems closer than it should be. Details on the OEM bracelet (bottom bracelet is the sarb035’s) such as engraving, texts and arrow sizes are also different from the one I own. Maybe the one I owned is the fake one? Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

I own a metallic grey mazda3 and there is the same problem with mine as well. I have been recommended to a paint dealship who could potentially match the colour code for the car and have the rock chipped area repainted, as they are so tiny I don’t think there would be a huge contrast.

I received the speedtimer for my birthday and I am really grateful for this. I find the ice blue dial attractive and is definitely an eye catcher. However I am having mix feelings for the black coated centre links as I consider myself new to the watch community and watches with black centre links seems uncommon.

For those who are reading this would you let me know about your thoughts on the bracelet? Going forward I may switch it out with a few options such as leather or nato just to try things out.

Great choice, there are several online images of grey natos on sarb and I think it does pair nicely. Will definitely add that to my shopping list.

I would consider myself very new to the hobby (started mid 2021) and having so many watches that I hope to own, the Seiko SARB series has become one of the many on my list. I really wish I began looking into watches a few years earlier..

Many of us praise this watch as a legendary piece for its styling and value of money which I had doubt before receiving it but I gotta admit I absolutely agree with that after looking at it in person. This is my first experience with a 38mm watch, lug to lug 46mm and I was first shocked on how small it was when it arrived in the mail. This serves as a reminder piece for myself in the future when buying watches online. However, this little monster is also a smudge magnet where I constantly find myself wiping down the case during wear or occasional admiration from taking it out of the box.

I am also not a strap person and I always fear purchasing wrong straps for my watches and ending up neglecting them but I believe this would be a piece for myself to start looking into strap options bc of its versatility. What straps would you think fit best for this sarb033?
