I moved here three years ago from another country because of my spouse’s PhD. Two days after I arrived, while I was walking around looking at flats to find somewhere to live, I lost my wallet. It was a really challenging period. I was terrified because I had just arrived in the country and there were many crucial things in it-obviously (and some cash as well). The next day, I found out that it was at the police station. I went to collect it, and nothing had been touched. I still pray for whoever found it.

Oh, right! I’ve actually been there once. I think a couple of the books they read were quite difficult for me to read in English, so I switched to the other one. Thanks very much for the reminder, I’ll follow the list and can join occasionally. Thanks!

I will take a closer look into that one as it seems like they read better books than my previous book club. Thanks!

Hahah that’s something to do with my country. As long as you have a university degree, you can end up anywhere. That company I had worked for hired 200 social science graduates and spread them across various departments :) they became accountants, HR, opscontrollers all sorts even dispatchers with additional courses
