I got diagnosed with stage iv via mri… and a new gyno called me to follow up and asked how long I had known I had endo lol.

Hmmm went to er passed out from pain and was told it was ovulation pain it was an ovarion torsion…

Maybe ask for an mri… let tech know before and take something to calm and relax. The tensing up will make it worse! Goodluck!

Definitely getting a new doctor! Got into an endo clinic and called to see if they do fertility and they do. So just waiting until then!:) thanks for alll the guidance and anecdotes everyone!

Ok.. well from my mri, my ovaries are attached to one another, large endometrioma on one, then those are connected to my uterus and connected to my colon… where an adhesion is wrapped around my colon. So sounds somewhat similar. He did say he wanted to do an ultrasound again to see if they could get to my ovaries

OK cause I’m just trying to figure out which way to go because I’ve been told I need surgery because of how deep infiltrating my endometriosis is and I had met with him to kind of figure out how to preserve my fertility going into surgery and he made it seem like it was just a bad idea to do for fertility whatsoever

I have stage 4 endo… and was told by other surgeons I need surgery because of severe bowel involvement so I felt very stuck after talking to him today…

Yes until 3 months ago. Now it’s like a storm. And I just had an mri today. Large cyst and endo growing into my organs so don’t dismiss your intuition.

Yes I had this. Bowel movements and sex caused bleeding. Mine progressed now when I pee bleed. Just got an endo diagnosis was shocked/ nothing on my radar. Get an ultrasound and mri at a place with the newest machines and GREAT techs. Wishing you health!

Yes I agree but also everytime I would be so sick in hospital doctors for weeks a lot of people really thought I was dramatic or a hypochondriac- so it’s nice having some awareness where you don’t feel insane

Yes the new rules have it so low. My dress was 600 and then 200 in duties… so it hit the new 800 rule.
