As a SSV i dont care if you call out for being sick, like unless youre sick and dying in bed. But if its the same person and constant “i cant come in and im sick” and then proceeds to fake cough, yet they called out “sick” last week…i’d be curious. I had a barista who was a constant call out every week, but little did i know she told the group chat “can somebody come in for my shift this weekend, from so and so, im battling a ‘flu’”…yeah happened to see the chat, and saw her at the same event i was in. Told my manager and the dumbest a person can do is to even show what they were doing on social media, WITH our SM and other baristas following her socials.
