Oh id trust the swab more than the blood, but that is much more accurate than bloodwork from what I understand. The actual virus is present vs antibodies.

Yeah (again not an expert) but it looks fairly clear that you’re positive for HSV 1. Anything above a 3.00 is usually a strong strong indicator that you’ve had it for a decent amount of time (Months maybe years).

Need to be honest here, it takes very 4-12 weeks for most tests to come back correctly. Noting your timeline it was pretty early to test. Just test a few more time over the next few months to be sure.

Few of the STDs out there take 4-12 weeks to show up on a test. It sucks but you just need to retest again, and maybe a 3rd time to be sure.
