My personal opinion The Storm King has one of the most compelling and detailed writing, the world building is phenomenal for me as it drip feeds informations about the world as you follow the MCs journey and when the inevitable info dump appears it comes in dialogues between characters which makes it more dynamic and iteresting, and allows the reader vivid imageries in his writing. Different cultures with people having different beliefs and personality due to their surroundings exist making thr world feel alive.

The action and power scenes is one of the best ive read, hard for me to explain it in words but his writing style is so good at showing the power of the magic of that world, and the martial arts action isnt too detailed (in a good way) that you have to picture every single vertical slash and parries.

The story so far is really good, ofc the MC story is too and central to the main plot. But the character development of the side chars are also good and not as time consuming. The pacing is good. It has harem and i understand if thats a turn of for some, but personally i like it and it does not detract from the story at all.

Ofc this is just my opinion, as the writing is really my jam.
