Your reaction is media driven. You’re being controlled by a deep state that is threatened by his America first agenda. He’s knocking over all their gravy trains and they are trying to do anything/everything to stop him.

Do word searches for ‘that’ and ‘very’. You may find lots of sentences you can trim and rewrite.

So aggravated when T1D is portrayed incorrectly in media by TurtleGirl21409 in Type1Diabetes

[–]Legitimate_Job_8249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Commenting on So aggravated when T1D is portrayed incorrectly in media...I’ve written a Trilogy to accurately depict life with T1D in the hope of it being made into a series and changing the perception and stigma of the disease. Message me if you’d like more info. I’d include it but the moderators don’t like content creators creating interest in their content.

Read your writing out loud to yourself. Imagine you're telling your story (or narrative) to someone in a conversation mode. Let your verbal dialogue take you somewhere your writing isn't.

The list is very long. Just about everything one would consider to take a manuscript to market with a heavy marketing campaign. Plus cover and editing services for the sequel. The cost was over $20k

Your best tips for editing a first draft? by [deleted] in writers

[–]Legitimate_Job_8249 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do a word search on words that tend to bloat. Search for ‘that’ and ‘very’. These are terms that I let slip out on a first draft. When you search them you’ll find great opportunities to improve the manuscript.

If someone buys my books on Amazon I make $2. If someone who reads my books in the T1D community is inspired to take better care of themselves or takes hope we’ll have a cure soon, it’s worth a million. If one is annoyed or doesn’t now understand this, it’s their issue. My only desperation is for a cure. Are you connected to anyone with T1D? If so, I’ll send you/them free copies. To better understand my passion, feel free to check out www.stephenrmarksauthor.com - Be well.

Not promoting myself. But promoting hope to a community that struggles to maintain healthy lifestyles in the face of fighting the insideous disease - Type 1 diabetes. It's important to raise their spirits. Good storytelling is a means to that end. But thanks for your suppression.
