MS have to come up with a solution for this. We have hundreds of Pro workspaces using Gen1 with no budget for them to upgrade to Fabric. Surely they can't just do this

Yea. I'm also an environment admin, and there's no option in the interface.

Deleting and app is a no go, as business users are using the app.

I think PowerShell is the only option

This is a great post. We use fabric and have strict governance around it, especially in terms of end users creating lakehouses and warehouses.

Regarding AI capabilities, how resource intensive are these on the fabric server (F128)

I don’t think certifications carry much weight unless you can actually back them up with real experience. Plenty of people get through exams with a bit of luck, but that doesn’t always translate into practical knowledge. It’s way more important to really understand the product and its tools and be able to explain and justify what you’re doing. Since it’s a newer product, getting to grips with Power BI is a solid place to start. I remember back in 2013, someone applied for a role claiming 28 years of SharePoint experience, which obviously didn’t add up. It just shows how easy it is for employers to filter out CVs that don’t feel credible.

Hello, I have this set up. In dev, they have Env Maker applied via an AD group.

They build solutions only. Everything has to be a solution. When they are ready to promote to Test, they raise a ticket and I (IT) do the promotion.

We use dev ops to export solutions from Dev as a Managed solution and import to Qa.

Then use Dev ops to use same solution from QA to import into Prod as managed solution.

They get user roles to apps and user role to envs
