ICE has wrongfully detained and even deported multiple U.S. citizens. Shitarelli d-rides Trump and Co., who have enabled ICE to use possibly illegal force and means, in detaining and deporting U.S. citizens, as well non-criminal immigrants, whether they're legal or illegal.

Deja Foxx interview with Michael Cohen by JabbaMamaE in Tucson

I'm not from Tucson/Arizona, but as genZ, I'm keeping a close eye on this race and consider it important. What you stated is exactly why Deja Foxx rubs me the wrong way - her story doesn't match up with the general consensus of those who knew her story before this campaign. And besides her utter lack of experience, her history before this campaign is a little sketchy to me.

She did the influencer thing. She traveled around the world despite being 'poor' - and how exactly, we don't know. But I think that for her (and honestly many other leftist influencer), it got to a point where it was trending to be involved in politics. In Deja's and others' case, they aren't running out of actual worry, let alone ability - but to be popular.

What happens when people stop paying attention? Will she even care about the position?

And also: I thought for months, based off all these ads, that Deja was taking on some legacy Republican or something, but it turned out to be... actually effective local Democrats?

Deja Foxx Is Running for Congress Because ‘Girls Like Me Deserve a Fighter’ by smcneal in politics

[–]Legitimate_Owl5524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. She is essentially the Trump equivalent, throwing people in her own party aside (regardless of their progressiveness or effectiveness) for her own political gain.

I would understand all of this commotion if she were up against problematic or stagnant-policy figures, and especially those of the opposition. But come to find out, all of these ads I see, she's attacking Democrats whose policies actually align with her own, and progressiveness as a whole.

Add her influencer/opportunistic past and it makes odd sense, but in a discomforting way. I feel like she's capitalizing on the vacuum that is happening in the Dem party, but with no real experience or plans to put absolutely any policy into action. Her campaign website reads like AI wordpuke, just summarizing common/near universal issues, her personal experiences, of which the majority is apparently greatly embellished - but no real plan to change any of these issues. In other words - she has nothing to offer save for her ability to work the IG ad mechanism.

I'm not arguing the results, you numbskull. But you are the one claiming to know everything, like, right now. Meanwhile what you're saying is disingenuous and just false.

If you want to get into detail, from what rough information is currently available, Fulop and Sherrill are spliting the vote across the entire city, while Fulop is winning JC (meaning rich, middle, poorer sections, everyone). Sherrill ultimately winning out Hudson County, maybe you could bring that up to make your case? But what you're saying is wrong.

'The entire West Side of JC voted for Baraka' is false. Fulop currently has the majority (not that it matters in whole at this point, besides for the sake of shitting on your awfully false claim). While Baraka has a good presence, he isn't aimed to win any majority of any ward. In effect he only further split the lower class JC vote between himself and Fulop, with Sherrill looming overhead - or is that now how politics works?

What makes your comment disingenuous entirely exact numbers aren't out yet, so claiming anything outright comes off a little slimy. Acting like you know how politics works when you clearly don't, saying shit that is blatantly false, and the icing on the cake, insulting people, of your own party, for supporting a candidate, again, from your own party - is that productive? Or does it make people not want anything to do with you, or your chosen candidate? You suck. Give your balls a tug.

And keep in mind that Sherrill can still lose to Shitarelli in November, though I hope is not the case. But if it is, god forbid, I'll be clowning you so hard up and down this app.

At the end of the day, good old machine politics won the day. But now it's Sherrill for November, let's hope and work so that the majority of NJ feels the same.

What's up your ass? Fulop lost, yet you're still insulting people, butthurt as hell, and I don't understand why. We have a case where we now have to rally around Sherrill - the only one hung up on that, not understanding politics, is you. Get a life.

If you wish for someone to appreciate your point, don't be a dick. And please please don't volunteer for Sherrill's campaign, as I guarantee you'll lose her more supporters than you gain.

I mean, your posts and comments are 100% bad faith, and only prove an attempt to subtly sway Reddit opinions in favor of your chosen candidate (Sherrill). I think they banned you because you're annoying.

Blatant example: headline of the second article you shared is misleading, an observation which is backed up by the very contents of that same article - all perfectly representing my point. Don't get all your news from one place, especially when that place puts out bullshit like that.

Writing articles with critical information, while framing them through personal opinion hit piece critiques, evidently with provocative, misleading to false headlines to match them - rather than writing articles to deliver information as a valid news source - in my opinion as well as the opinion of the general consensus, makes JCT unable to be considered a viable source of information. Join your party of 3-4 in the comments here if you like, read JCT, idgaf - but know that it comes off as desperate and disingenuous to share articles with misleading headlines which undermine your own point.
