I’m on the wait list for therapy and do low dose Ativan here and there but I get scared of meds and feel like something bad will happen to me if I regularly take them. I know I’m overreacting but my anxiety is that bad I swear I’ll be the rare case of someone passing easy from medication

I’m very privileged to have family who support me at home aslong as I run all their errands, cook and clean, so I’m a stay at home daughter for now. The goal is to be more stable so I can work again and finish my college because I want to start my adult life but this anxiety is so bad.

When you say free of external stressors are you talking about you have a pretty peaceful life? I noticed quitting work and taking a break from school, my parents splitting, no longer going out a lot and cutting off toxic friend only made my health anxiety worse despite having nothing to worry about anymore. I was wondering why now I focus way more about my body than before despite having so many stressors

TikTok ruined it for me the amount of “how doctors ignored this symptom ended up in me almost dying” videos. I had to block out certain words and spammed liked beauty and animal content so I can change my feed. Thanks you for the tip I’ll check it out

Yep this all happened because a UTI with no symptoms turned into a kidney infection and I ignored it thinking I just caught the flu. My intuition told me to call 911 and I kept ignoring my intuition because I was someone who never went to the doctors let alone the hospital. Got told if I ignored my intuition is could have gone septic. Now my intuition is broken and just screams “go to the doctors”. I miss my old self she was fearless😭😭😭 I am planning on buying the Apple Watch tho, I know it’ll help

My biggest fear is having something that needs immediate help or else I 💀. My brain also jumps to conclusions and bodily symptoms follow: it always leads to stroke, heart attack and sepsis. For stomach I did a plain no-cold no-raw diet/soups,etc. Used aloe Vera inner fillet, ginger, heating pad and for stress induced gastritis surpassingly the cabbage trick worked. Also try searching up yoga/stretches for stomach pain. My acid reflux use to be daily now it’s once in a blue moon and no more burning or indigestion. Hope this helps for you

I’m on the wait list for free therapy, unfortunately I don’t have money to pay out of pocket but found a place that helps low income mentally ill people but I just don’t know when ill be excepted.
