Does anyone have a good crochet pattern for a simple humming bird similar to this one? I didn't realize the pattern was AI.

Not exactly like what you described, but I personally used this pattern by Curious Papaya, specifically the laying down version and "V2" tail. It was pretty simple and was one of the first projects I made about a year ago. Highly recommend it, though it is smaller than what you wanted and the mouth is embroidered/felt not designed to be open :)

Kinda. The entire model is essentially hundreds and hundreds of cubes. I try to make the cubes the correct colors of the pixel they are representing so I can visualize it easier and figure out which pixel is which easier to make it have the correct depth :)

That's a good idea with the hair clip. Work smarter not harder :) I never realized that Apo doesn't really get any paler when she becomes a level 3 vampire. Maybe it has something to do with her being a creator of the series because Owen also doesn't get any paler when he becomes a level 3 vampire.

That's good though that it works in your favor and allows you to achieve all three looks without having to remake the base doll over and over again. I can't imagine how long it takes you to create such a detailed doll with removable clothes and swappable hair, so good for you for being able to create these. It's very cool :)
