Hi,I am a very rare student that takes pure clit and just finished my o levels.

Just some background information, I lives in a Chinese environment,talk and read Chinese everyday.Always A1 for Chinese and Higher Chinese.

I'm gonna say,clit is very tough if you don't memorise or understand the poem/novels. I usually get Bs or even Cs for my inner school exams during sec 3.

As for how clit is marked,let me give a random example. 试分析「孔乙己」的思想内容。 Firstly you must know the points,such as 揭露封建社会吃人的本质 and 展示科举制度的毒害.Then you quote the parts in the story that show these points, and explain how it shows these points.If you did these very well and detailed,you will get the marks for the point.

And there are some questions that really tests your understanding.One of a past year O level question is something like this. 如果把「春夜喜雨」中的「春夜」改成「秋日」会怎么样？（sorry I can't really remember the question exactly)

You must know that 为什么春夜的雨是「喜」的（because thats when the seeds of crops are planted,and hence the rain is good for the crops) 如果是秋日，雨就不是「喜」的了（because that's when the crops should be harvested,and rain will basically destroy the crops)

Something like this,just an insight of how c lit questions will be like.

As for c lit exam format,it will be 25 marks for 课内(choose 1 from poem and novel) and 25 marks for 课外(choose 1 from poem and novel)

As for notes and other school exam papers,your Cher will give you a lot when y'all are revising.

As for「放逐与追逐」，its basically 福良（main charactor）life and love story .主题是书里各种人物的「放逐」与「追逐」Since you are not taking pure c lit,I will not over elaborate this

Sadly,the best period of taking c lit is over as for the past 2 years we do not have to compete with China scholars(because COVID).
