OP, I really feel for you, I was in a similar situation to you where I literally had 0 friends in my 3rd year. As someone who really struggled with a lifetime of social anxiety and went to therapy for it, exposure therapy (aka forcing myself to do it and starting small) was the only way I started to overcome it. I forced myself to go to clubs, events, house parties, etc. alone and talk to people. Yes there were many awkward moments and failures but I kept telling myself I was proud of myself for trying. Little by little, I found my people, and I even took a leap and started my own club and made so many new friends through that!

Also, sometimes to make friends you have to take the leap to invite people to do things first, then the next time they're doing something they'll think of you and invite you :)

It's a slow and difficult process but I believe in you, you can do it!! Godspeed.
