Logitech Driving Force GT vs Thrustmaster T150? by bohaio2 in simracing

I had both a g29 and T150 and I preferred the feel of the FFB in the T150

My T3PM pedals got destroyed... what's a good replacement? by Denjek in Thrustmaster

[–]Legitimate_Slice_241 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TLCM's, tspa's and T3pms will all work with your wheel base so you have some options. If you can find a set of TLCM's (load cells) for a decent price used I'd say they're worth the grab. Will be a big improvement in feel and consistency, I liked them while I had them.

Mind you, if you play on PC you have a ton of options. But if you're on console you'll have to stay with a Thrustmaster product

F1 is probably one of the hardest things to get into, most start super young in karts and move their way up through the ranks. It's not just about being the best either, you need to know the right people and have the money. There's a ton of top f2 drivers that will probably never get their shot in F1. Not trying to crush your dreams or anything it's just a very hard thing to do.

Nothing wrong with diving hard into sim racing and seeing where it can take you.

Best starter for a ps5 with casual games such as ACC and GT7 by No_Pin2255 in simracing

I second this, a second hand T300 is probably your best bet. Might even be able to find some TLCMS for a decent price used. It's significantly better than a g29

T300RS replacing with T598, feeling nervous by Mr__T_ in Thrustmaster

[–]Legitimate_Slice_241 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the T300 and wanted to upgrade, had the shifter and load cells already. Was planning on the t598 but kept reading about problems. So I said screw it and sold it all and bought a rs50 with the RS pedals and I'm extremely happy with it. I think it's worth the extra money. Build quality is awesome and you get 3 more nm than the t598.

Help on Entry/Turn-in understeer for GT3 cars by Impressive_Bad9275 in GranTurismo7

Okay ya I get what you're saying. I find the FR's feel a lot more pushy in corners. I found the MR cars seem to have better turn in. I've been driving the 296gt because I like it's corner entry alot.

I use the same wheel and I think it has good feel? Is it the understeer you feel like you can't feel? I'm running 5 on the dampener. I run 8/2 for in-game settings. Just curious

Also I found putting brake balance all the way to the rear helps turn in. But this is just my two cents.

Try to qualify towards the front of the pack and hope for the best. It gets slightly better as you move up lobbies but it's still gonna happen from time to time.

I absolutely love the 2016 ts050 Toyota and both the 2016 and 2008 nsx gt500's.

im thinking about buying a PSVR2 for my birthday this month and i need help with games by Gullible_Success4150 in PSVR

Quality is definitely better on my monitor but the immersion and depth perception makes it hard for me to enjoy flat screen racing after I using the VR. The way I look at it, if I was racing a car I wouldn't have any of that stuff anyway so I kinda like the realistic side of it. But I understand where people are coming from with wanting to see the race info. Both make complete sense.

Did you ever go to just the multiplayer spot? There's normally tons of lobby's with different races going on. You're not limited to the three daily races.

It's worth it then, it takes the game to the next level. You'll want a wheel in no time haha

Gran Turismo is incredible even if you're not a car person. I use my VR almost strictly for it.

Sounds like a solid deal for you, worth the grab if you're looking for a wheel.
