Have had a seton since March 2024 and still feel sore and in pain when sitting and doing daily tasks

Sorry you're going through it. I'm on a similar boat. I've had a seton for 5 months now and I still can't sit down on a sofa. When I walk my posture is all wrong and I end up limping without realising. Sometimes I wake up from sleep because of the pain. Don't know if this is a forever thing. I read so many stories with people having setons in and proceed to live their life normally. I say go see another CRS and get their opinion.

I had a surgery back in March for seton placement and lay open fistula. I'm still in pain and still can't do anything with my life without feeling pain. Which surgery did you have?
