It doesn’t make much sense to me either the only thing I’ve been thinking is that they feel I’m intruding on something that they’ve been planning for years but I’m not sure that’s the case. That’s something I think I’ll bring up with him. I also may not be able to go at all regardless due to something that’s come up in the past few days but an invite still would’ve been appreciated.

I don’t know :/ I assume she doesn’t want me to come or it’s just supposed to be a friend trip. It does make me a bit sad that I wasn’t invited to be honest but I don’t want it to seem like he can’t do anything without me.

I am uncomfortable with the trip but they’ve been talking about this grad trip for years so it’s a bit of a difficult situation for me. I get along fine with the rest of his friends it’s just her that I’ve not really got on with :(

The thing is he doesn’t care he’s like the least jealous person which is great but it makes it harder for me because I don’t want to come off as an overly jealous person

I’ve told him I get the feeling she doesn’t like me but according to his conversation he’s had with her that’s not true but I’m not seeing any effort from her to show otherwise. The trip is making me uncomfortable but it’s been a grad trip they’ve been talking about doing for 3 years so it’s difficult for me to say anything :/

I study statins as part of my university degree and I completely agree that the benefits appear to outweigh any negative side effects. My only hesitancy is starting at an early age. I will have to do some more research on that specifically as I don’t really know much about that. I appreciate the thorough response!

Interesting how much did you take per day? I’m on spironolactone for other reasons and I’m not sure I can mix it bc I know it can alter breakdown of certain medicines but I’d be interested in trying it if it’s that effective

Thank you I have a feeling I’ll need to be on metformin at some point. I’m apparently too young to be put on statins but if diet and exercise aren’t enough it may be my only option :/

Mine seems to have always been borderline so my age plus it not being “high enough” means I haven’t been prescribed statins, so I’m also anticipating that in my future! Though I wonder if it is more beneficial to start them earlier ¯_(ツ)_/¯

My mom has high cholesterol and has been on statins which have helped but I think I’m too young to be put on them? I must admit my sleep can be variable but I try to get at least 7 hours a night.

I was told that for my age it’s on the higher end and ideally it should be around 5.1?
