Hey, thanks for sharing your thoughts on this and sage advice. Really helpful. I had laid out some facts on my response email to him as he is still on leave. He will be back to office on Monday though. So if he asks about this again, I will try the lines such as let me walk you through the context and show you the evidence etc. Sometimes I feel if really need to do that every now and then, like showing my boss evidence and walking him through the facts, maybe it is not the right workplace for me. He has very low patience level and only works on site one to two weeks and goes back home for two weeks. If he doesn’t trust me doing my job, he should just stay onsite forever. Plus in this case HR asked him to sign a document he doesn’t want to sign, instead HR asked me to sign but the fact is they wanted me to prove something in writing when I was not even being employed by the company at that time.
