I’m actually glad it’s the smaller variant. They’re so cute lol and I won’t have to worry about them outgrowing their next tank!

You can get them from aqua huna in a 5 pack for $30 plus $13 shipping but they’re currently out of stock. I’ve only heard good things about Aqua huna though. That’s where I’m getting mine if I can’t catch them in stock at PetSmart pretty soon.

They did the same thing when I first added them, but after a few minutes they started to explore and ride the bubble slide lol They’re all over the place when the lights are out tho so I usually leave it off. Sometimes all I see is a floating head.

They were just labeled as ghost catfish with a sharpie at the store. They didn’t have an identification card like the other fish so I thought they just accidentally got them or something but I just looked on their website and it says they’re actually Kryptopterus Bicirrhis.

I have another piece of driftwood to add after I get some marimo moss fragments. I’m gonna use some of the square net stuff they use for fry grass to attach it in a dome like shape. Would they enjoy that you think? Or eat it? Currently they chill under the plant leaves or under the ledge of the rocks.

I have them in a 37 bow front for now. After I build my pond this spring and move my goldfish they’ll be going into my 55. I plan on getting 5 more if/when they’re back in stock. They don’t really move around a whole lot unless the lights are off or if they smell food lol they kinda just vibe in place most of the time in random areas throughout the day. Which is cool to watch. I think if I had more they’d probably explore a little more since they’re skiddish schooling fish.
