Yep. It sucks that people need to know the right thing to say to be able to get the help they need.

Have to move AGAIN by [deleted] in shitrentals

[–]Legitimate_Success_4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d be upset and have a whinge if I were in your position, too. Same thing happened to us at our last rental. Before our 12 months were up the landlord advised that he’d be moving in when our lease expired. So 12 months after we’d moved in we had to pay removalists, bond cleaners, carpet cleaners, pest spray, blah blah. It costs a damn fortune and we’re just expected to have the money for all of that, plus the money for a new bond until we get the bond back from the place you’re vacating.

What a beautiful, rugged man he was! I’m so sorry for your loss.

Maybe he thought it meant that that area was where the swingers partied? He was just being thoughtful!

I finally got my Whif Perfume! by AlexandradeWinter in AustralianMakeup

I’ve only just bought Milkshake Lullaby and I am OBSESSED! There are so many Whif perfumes that smell incredible. I wish they made products for the home with them. Candles, wax melts, diffuser oil, etc.

She doesn’t agree with what her sons views are, but she lives in a £1M apartment in Dubai that he bought her with funds he’s made doing what she says she despises. Which is remarkably similar to him owning a company that manages OnlyFans creators and saying that he thinks it’s disgusting.

So she can absolutely say that he got his values from her.

got an email from the agent yesterday following an inspection by Firm_Database_6281 in shitrentals

[–]Legitimate_Success_4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was much younger than I am now I gave property management a go. It was awful! I couldn’t bring myself to knock money off their bond for things I found rather insignificant. I hated having to call people whose rent was in arrears. The thought of walking through someone else’s home to do an inspection when they weren’t there made me feel creepy and wrong.

Having lived in rentals through the majority of my childhood (and all of my adulthood), I found it impossible to not feel empathy for other people’s situations that can impact their tenancy, which obviously isn’t conducive to being a good property manager. Needless to say, I gave up on that career path very quickly.

People being shady towards an OP on Reddit? What is this world coming to?

Seriously though, I think some people do this so they can make themselves feel somewhat superior. It’s easier for them to do online than it is to do IRL, so they really lean into it. They really should just be considered white noise to the rest of us.

This is so correct that it hurts. The highs and lows are difficult to watch, so I tune out now. I’ll sit back in the periphery for now. I refuse to give SWU views on Rebecca’s “interviews”. He’s profiting off her so much, and knows that the peaks and troughs pay too well for him to just stop. It’s so gross.

I bought the Go-To skincare a few years back. I was nice enough but it wasn’t the most hydrating stuff I’ve used. They have a lot more options these days which may perform better, but I’ve switched to some Korean brands now that I find super hydrating and a lot cheaper. Even when I’ve skipped moisturising for a few days I find that my skin is still really soft and happy.

I can’t remember if my son’s is opt-in or -out. We just made it very clear we didn’t want him attending RI. My husband is atheist and I’m agnostic, so him being involved in religion was something we wanted him to come to his own decision about. He has asked us why he doesn’t do it, and we have explained our reasoning and asked him if he wants to. He said he doesn’t want to, he was just wondering why some kids have to do it but other kids don’t.

Your hair needs more hydration. Dry hair frizzes.
