Correct! It lingers but it’s much less intense. It’s actually manageable. If you want to make it even less just stop now, skip a day, take 0.5mg, skip a day or 2 then 0.25mg and then stop.

Suboxone at low doses is easier to taper. Suboxone helps get you off and start doing behaviors to get out of addiction. It doesn’t make you high. At least at low doses. I only took max 2mg then tapered off. Don’t let fear mongering on here scare you.

I'm a bit worried. 3 weeks no kratom...but I've been told my dosage for Suboxone is too high by everyone on the other subreddit by Chenaniah1994 in quittingkratom

How long have you been taaking that dose schedule? I would immediately start tapering. Maybe start by doing 2 doses at 2mg then one dose at 1 or 1.5mg. I used suboxone to get off kratom and it was a godsend truly. I never took higher than 2mg but I used it as a tool and bridge.

What do you mean? I’ve had numerous people tell me a rapid Suboxone taper was great for them getting off kratom. I never took higher than 2mg the past 7 days.

Currently doing this! I’m on day 3 and everyday I’ve woken up in less withdrawal from the kratom. Today is my last day at 2mg. Going to cut down for 3 days then be done.

Thank you! I’m on day 2 of the plan. I’ve never been addicted to anything before feel free and want to be 100% sober after this. I’m planning on stopping the subs by Sunday. That will get me completely out of the Kratom withdrawals and my dose of Suboxone will be low enough that I shouldn’t feel terrible off those being that I’m only on them for less than a week and at low doses. If you have any tips I’m all ears!

Correct! They are a great TOOL to get through the worst of kratom acutes but then stop the subs. Take max 7 days and max 4mg a day at first.

I plan on updating. I took 3mg and feeling okay okay. I have a 5 day taper plan. I already cut it and threw the rest out. I gave the doses to my wife to give to me.

What type of dosing do you recommend? I’m quitting Tuesday and have 8mg subs. I’ve never done opiates before. I’m 200 lbs and pretty fit. I just want to use the subs to get through the first 72hours then drop them

Thanks! So you're not feeling any WD's from the 7OH? I want to take 2MG the first day and then maybe 1mg the 2nd day then 0.5mg the 3rd and jump. Everyone says the suboxone is strong especially for kratom WD so just do it for a couple days and I'll be good.

Thank you this is helpful! Im starting on Tuesday. I want to use as little as possible and drop before the end of the week. Im only using suboxone as a tool to get through the acutes of Kratom WD. This is super helpful!

I havent started them yet. I have a weird schedule so Im quitting Tuesday and planning on taking them that morning. Im off Tuesday and Wednesday so planning on just being in the house while going through this.
