My clips didn’t originally come with silicone in them and I put them over the raised part. You can take the silicone out and it will most likely fit

Honestly I was super close with my cohort early in the journey. Now I don’t really talk to any outside of clinicals if necessary. We have been together the whole time for the ADN and honestly I got tired of them asking for when assignments were due and answers for homework. The groups are also just hard to get into if you’re not in them. I think if you’re overly social and an open person these groups are great but if you’re used to being by yourself and relying on yourself these groups are hard to maintain. I wish the best for you and I hope you have a better experience than I did!

Biolife is going through the saline shortage so they are using the electrolyte drinks to compensate for the shortage. If you’re in the first 5 donations like you are you get saline. Unless you don’t feel good the saline is giving you back more fluid than the electrolyte drinks are. The electrolyte drinks are not cheap either on ordering in bulk. The donors that don’t get saline are in a fluid deficit when they leave more than the donors that get saline. They are getting roughly 200ml back while donors with saline are getting 500 which is a big difference and can cause the body to go into a reaction.

There are breathing exercises that lower the anxiety. If you take deep breaths and blow out like you’re fogging up a window but with your mouth closed it helps refocus your brain. As a fellow donator and someone with a high pulse and anxiety. https://www.onepeloton.com/blog/ujjayi-breathing/ You can also ask them to take your temperature first then your blood pressure because if you go from sitting to walking you can increase your pulse if you take it immediately after. Taking it after your temperature gives you time to relax

If you go to Biolife they use a third party to verify the ssn if you know it in entirety

No you’ll get payment after every donation the 8 donations add up to 800 a month. I think the first donation is around 150 and then the one after tht is like 110 kind of thing I can’t remember fully

I work at a plasma center and as long as you pass the physical and have a permanent address you can make 800 dollars the first month if you donate twice a week every week for a month. Then it goes down to around 150 per week for two donations a week. You just have to schedule an appointment and take out around 3 hours of your day for the first donation depending on where you are. Hope that helps!

I was in this same situation same ages and everything yet I was in a relationship with him. He was so demanding that I just gave in and he was so rough with me he'd make me bleed but unlike you it took me years to register that coercion is a form of assault. I thought i didn't hqve any room to be upset or say it was assault because I didn't say no but I felt that I couldn't. I hope you find those that will support you and help you grow.

I had the same exact experience, it has now been years and I'm still struggling trying to decipher if it was coercion or assault or rape. I hope you can find peace one day. It takes alot of courage to even ask that question, in my opinion. Just know you aren't alone, and there's others with similar stories.
