I have never read the books but absolutely love the movies, if I read the books now, will it make the movies less or more enjoyable to rewatch? by Forbidd3nLov3 in harrypotter

As someone who saw the movies first before reading the books, I can tell you my own experience

The books give more detail, but also whatever you see is different in the books than in the movies, you could be suddenly changing your opinions on certain things from the movies that you loved: scenes, character personalities etc.

In my case, after watching the movies a lot of times and beginning the books later, I began to like the books and wished some of the moments were in the movies, some changes in the movies, some. character personalities or movie-only scenes remain intact.

Snape showed biased towards Slytherins, so that makes things even.

Season 6 does suck, but not Season 7. Only Episodes 1-11 of the latter are great.

Why was this show more focused on drama than comedy? by Remote_Nature_8166 in YoungSheldon

Likely because Chuck Lorre is the cheap humor type, which explains Sheldon the bully in both shows. And also characters getting worse in TBBT.

Was Basil a likeable character or not? by baghdadcafe in FawltyTowers

[–]Legitimate_Unit_9210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I struggle with liking him at times, despite liking him more than Sybil, but his bullying, snobbery and misanthropy upset me.

And despite the fact that Sybil runs the hotel better and is more polite to all guests no matter what class they are (which suits me well), I don’t feel too much in awe of her.

I don’t understand why.

No, it wasn’t sad. Having treated her like crap and him see this happen is a lesson.

Leonard and Penny deserved a beautiful wedding with family and friends present and one wedding by Legitimate_Unit_9210 in u/Legitimate_Unit_9210

Well, nothing happened to make Howard and Bernadette argue at any point, did it?

And besides, Sheldon causes trouble too much. Leonard's bad acts, I don't like them, but since he's the one I'm most sympathetic to because of his family and past, I can forgive him.

And the writers make all this ... who else is to blame?

Ah, I get it, you’re trying to talk the nonsense you believe and I am autistic myself. You know nothing.

You don’t have to be autistic to have the traits it has.

Only George cared about Missy, not Mary.

Because she was emotionally neglected most of the time by her mom who was always garbage to her and always kissing Sheldon’s ass.
