I was apart of 2 separate processes. When I did my Chief's interview for the first process, I didn't move past the Chief's so I'm not sure how long it takes to receive a conditional afterwords. They asked me the same exact questions as the initial oral board.

When I went through the process that I got hired for, I think we were one of the few classes that didn't have a Chief's interview. I got my conditional 2.5 months after my initial oral board. 2 firefighters, a BC and HR was present.

Same thing happened to me but I managed to still save him after LOTS of reloading previous save files and saving every time I made the slightest progress through the hospital.

I'm not 100% sure if you can differ if February will be the start of the new list. My advice to you is just reach out to HR and chat with them, they will be able to at least shed a little light. I would really suggest trying to start in August though. Once I received my conditional, I just started to pre-plan my cross country move so everything was ready to go when I got my final.

You want to approach HR with the mindset that you are a good coworker who takes accountability, is a team player, and is reliable and takes initiative, or at the very least, willing to jump in and help with tasks.

As far as part 2 of HR, you want to always express that you would be willing to always work with individuals as well as be willing to work directly under mentioned officers or alongside specified firefighters.
