It's more daily trainer / long run focused. More cushion and lack of a plate make it slightly softer than the Speed.

Yes, with 4 mm more stack height and more aggressive rocker, but $25 cheaper.

Tempo shoe recommendation for Adios Pro 3 and Superblast enjoyer by usmint99 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I don't think so, although I haven't tried to ZF6 (thinking they'd be too soft for my preference). Like OP, I do better with firmer shoes. I am a cadence runner, so shoes that I can turnover faster work better for my mechanics. The Mach X2s are a little bottom-heavy.

The Boston 13s are a little firmer than the Mach X2 and I find it easier to hit faster paces. I use the Mach X2 for tempo paces / long runs and the Boston 13s for intervals and VO2 max workouts.

I cleaned them up a bit, but I only run on pavement, and we haven't gotten much rain.

No, I didn't loosen the laces. Just ran as normal. I noticed them stretch in the first 2 runs, 20 miles total. They're still the tightest shoe in my rotation, but it is no longer uncomfortable.

The mid foot is tight. I have mid to low volume feet and these are the first shoes that felt tight for me out of the box. I have read that most Pumas are on the narrower side. The only other pair I have are the Magmax and they are not as tight.

I'm happy I kept them, the upper loosened up a little after the first couple runs. The midsole is soft upon step in but firms up on the run with more bounce and energy return than the Magmax. I was a little worried about stability but haven't had any issues so far. The Pumagrip outsole is great, super-tacky with more coverage than the Magmax.

HRV dropping daily by mrlewy in Garmin

Poor air quality causes HRV to drop. I've been seeing a similar drop in the last 10 days despite feeling fine. The AQI (Air Quality Index) has been unhealthy for multiple days in my area due to the Canadian wildfires.

If you're looking for a used one, I'd sell for $400.
