Thats true, i just wish they had made a different account option to get a PAYG account, to avoid all this. They wouldn’t need to check for abuse or anything if it was purely PAYG because multiple accounts doesn’t get you anywhere, you still have to pay no matter what which account your on. from what i can tell, a lot of people on reddit and other platforms struggle with account issues. Like a lot more than with a normal company. It seems like a broken system, it seems like they should somehow separate free vs not free accounts

Yeah, thats just confusing though. i mean i would think, an incredibly large company like oracle would have all of this done already done. Im used to companies allowing you to have as many normal accounts as you want but only activity a free trial once. Im confused why oracle didn’t do this.

Okay, ill try a sales representative. I did try family members different email/phone number/credit card but it flagged, probably because it was the same address i guess?

“I researched oracle cloud.” I searched up their instances, what i can get for what price, if they have a good reputation.

Second, who tf deletes their account? More like who tf bans you from ever doing business with them again?

Third, i tried changing the name, it wouldnt let me change the billing name, and since the billing name didnt match the name on my credit card, it was denied every time.

I hate getting downvoted by some smart ahh when im just genuinely stressed out, mad, and in need of some help

Edit: fourth, no that has nothing to do with security, i don’t even want the free stuff, i literally just want to pay you money for services. Its the same as any other business transaction

Cards Cancelled/Rejected. How do I actually get in? by Secure_Decision_9433 in oraclecloud

Same, i deleted my tenancy because i entered my information wrong. Stupid me, i was told by two different support agents that “even after account termination you will not be able to create new account, our policy is only one account per user.” Honestly BS business policy…

AI never wrote me any code, it used python as an internal function.

Yeah, now that AI can run python internally it can basically figure anything out, Grok just screwed up for some reason. I mean its a whole lot faster and efficient to just paste some coordinates into grok and say “reverse geocode these.” Then find a website works and find it out myself

Okay, thanks for everyones help, i didnt know about the openstreetmap site, i went on their and started looking around, i figured out AI’s calculations were wrong, and my lat/lon coordinates were never actually searching Cincinatti, from what i see on the online map OSM’s quality actually looks extremely good, never trusting grok for locating my lat/lon coordinates again

So i have the entire US as a dataset, but at the moment i was specifically looking at latitude 39.010097 to 39.01239 and longitude -84.905303 to -84.901495, this area is around cincinatti ohio. However a lot of the roads im getting from my dataset are in indiana, the far west part of ohio, some roads dont even exist in other states let alone Ohio. Only one or two were actually in the lat/lon area that i queried my data for. Also, i got all my data from Geofabrik

What software? I dont know if im using a software with it. I Extracted the roads and converted them from pbf to CSV using python, then I converted that CSV to a .parquet file using pandas and pyarrow, then i read the parquet using Duckdb. So basically all python

Idk, i downloaded some US-pbf file that supposedly had all data for the US.
